Electrician / Electrical Fitter

Responsibilities

• Installing cable trays – trunking, brackets and fixings.
• Pulling and securing cables along the routes.
• Labelling cables.
• Preparing materials and tools at the work site.
• Following health and safety requirements and keeping the site tidy.

Essential

• Physical fitness – this is hands-on, practical work.
• Confident use of power tools (hammer drill, drill, angle grinder).
• Willingness to work at height – cable routes are rarely at floor level.
• Careful, reliable work and a willingness to learn on the job.

Advantageous

• Experience in electrical installation or construction.
• Ability to read cable route plans.
• Electrical safety group certification.
• Category B driving licence.
